Kestrel Computer Project

Originally intended to be a grass-roots organization of software engineers, hardware engineers, and ordinary computer users, intent on specifying and building home computers whose components were free and open source from soup to nuts. The idea was inspired by the Open Compute Project, but focusing on home computers instead of data center/commercial server racks.

Although Raptor Computing Systems went on the record stating that they had no intention of leveraging trademarks or copyrights against me or my project, I decided to play it safe anyway. I mean, just look at their logo and my logo. It doesn't take a lawyer to realize how close they are, and the overlap of our respective interests and markets.
